EU Commission’s name in charge of energy policies, Kadri Simson, stated that he expects the 6th package of sanctions against Russia to be announced soon due to the European Union’s attack on Ukraine.
Stating that the date for the announcement of the sanctions has not been clarified yet, Simson stated that this package needs the approval of EU member states, as in previous sanctions packages.
