The decentralized finance project KyberSwap was subjected to a sensational hack on November 22. After the hack, $50 million evaporated from liquidity pools. On the same day, the hacker sent a ‘consensus’ message to the project team via blockchain.

In his message, the hacker said, “Dear Kyberswap developers and employees, negotiations will begin in a few hours when I am fully rested.” The response from the team to the message from the wallet of the KyberSwap attacker was not delayed.

The team signaled that if the hackers do not accept the reward, they will go through difficult legal times.

The team’s ultimatum message is as follows;

“You can return 90 percent of the money you received from users to your 0x8180a5CA4E3B94045e05A9313777955f7518D757 wallet until 06:00 UTC on November 25. Otherwise, you will continue to run away.”

The KyberSwap team also left an e-mail address in the message, thinking that the hackers might want to negotiate by keeping their identities secret.
